Muritala O Abdulrasheed (Phd) SAN is the Senior/Managing Partner of Muritala Abdul-Rasheed, SAN and Co. Widely admired for his dynamism and ability to solve complex issues with good-humoured candour, Muritala has exceled in an over two-decade practice that has seen him become Notary Public and a member of the Body of Benchers (a body that regulates the legal profession in Nigeria).

These days, he heads the Dispute Resolution Practice Group of the law firm and his work over the years has spanned legal, institutional and regulatory reforms in the areas of governance and development. His rich experience also entails consultations for International Organizations like the National Democratic Institute,   NDI   on   Elections   &   Democracy   and   MacArthur Foundation on Criminal Justice Reform.

He was also a Chief of Staff to the Past President of the NBA, Abubakar Balarabe Mahmoud, SAN, when Mr. Mahmoud was President of NBA from 2016 – 2018. Mr. Abdul-Rasheed is a member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, (UK).
